Brown steps down from committee

Chief Minister Tony Brown's time as Chairman of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Person’s Committee will soon be over.

He's stepping down after initially taking up the role when he became speaker of the House of Keys.

The committee, which advises parliament and the private sector about issues facing those with disabilities, is soon to undergo a name change.

But Mr Brown says the new Tynwald Advisory Council for Disabilities will continue the good work:
