A major new appeal which aims to help an African country's poorest communities will be launched this morning.
Sports Equipment for African Children is aiming to collect enough boots, bats, balls and much more to fill a 44 ton lorry, which will then be sent to Zambia.
The Island's collection will start from the National Sports Centre.
NSC Manager, and Project Co-ordinator, Carl Glover says the equipment can make a massive difference to people's lives (audio file attached):
