Neighbourhood policing

by isleofman.com 13th January 2007
The Isle of Man police force has high hopes for 2007 when it comes to crime.

Inspector Richard Power says during the past year the Constabulary has consolidated the concept of neighbourhood policing.

The result has been an improvement in the current detection rate, and a reduction in the number of incidents recorded.

It's hoped this trend will continue over the course of the next 12 months.

Inspector Power says the clamp down on disorder has been particularly successful.
