No BAFTA for Miss Potter

by isleofman.com 12th January 2007
Miss Potter, partly fimed in the Isle of Man, has missed out on a BAFTA nomination.

The film, which was shot on the Island last year, co-stars Ewan McGregor and Emily Watson and was released in British cinemas a week ago.

However, the film is up for a Golden Globe in Holywood on Monday.

Renee Zellweger's portrayal of Beatrix Potter has earned her a nomination for the award of Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.
