Sheep Hurdle Theft

by isleofman.com 11th January 2007
Ramsey police are appealing for information regarding what they're describing as an unusual theft after 8 metal sheep hurdles were stolen from a field in Bride.

They were taken on the evening of Monday the 8th of January and police say a vehicle must have been used to remove them.

The hurdles are described as being a type of interlocking fence panel, silver, five feet long and three feet high.

Constable Steve Grainger says the theft is strange as the hurdles are only of use to people who keep livestock.

He's asked for anyone who has information, particularly people in the farming community, to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
