Industrial shredder for Corpie

A new industrial shredder at Ballaughton Nurseries will be a great benefit to the Island, both environmentally and economically.

So says Douglas Town Councillor, Richie McNicholl.

The machine will be able to process garden waste, tree cuttings, cardboard and more, which could be combined with other materials to produce fertilizer

Mr McNicholl says the shredder, when combined with a new composting facility, will hopefully make the Island more self-sufficient:
