Appeal for sports equipment

A major new appeal which aims to help an African country's poorest communities will be launched here on the Isle of Man

Sports Equipment for African Children is aiming to collect enough boots, bats, balls and much more to fill a 44 ton lorry, which will then be sent to Zambia.

The National Sports Centre is organising the Island's collection, which will start there next Monday.

NSC Manager, and Project Co-ordinator, Carl Glover says the equipment can make a massive difference to people's lives:
