Central heating for Upper Pulrose

Work should start soon on a crucial part of a ?12 million scheme to bring the 130 houses in Upper Pulrose up to modern standards.

It will involve the installation of much needed central heating in the homes, at a total cost of ?800,000.

That will be followed by double glazing, new porches, replacement kitchens and bathrooms and re-wiring at various times during the next few years.
