Station future to be debated

The future direction of Manx Radio will be debated in Tynwald later this month.

The company's Value for Money report is to be presented - and members asked to approve funding of ?933,000 for the next financial year.

The government subvention would then be subject to annual review, based on inflation.

The station's landmark building needs to be extended - and Manx Radio will be asked to compare the cost of alterations with relocation from Douglas Head to an alternative site.
