Violent incident at chippy

Police are investigating a violent assault which resulted in two men being taken to hospital, one with concussion, and another with a deep cut and facial swelling.

It happened outside Moby Dick's fish and chip shop on the Castlemona parade at 2.10am last Friday (5th Jan).

Officers say the assault was particularly violent and the two victims were shaken. Several people were in the area at the time leaving a nearby nightclub, and a number of taxis were parked in close by.
