Weather changes ARE affecting farmers

The Island's weather is definitely changing.

That is the view of Manx Radio's farming correspondent John Kennaugh.

Mr Kennaugh was speaking after the release of figures from the Met Office on the Island which showed that last year was the warmest on record, with a mean temperature of 10.9 degrees celsius, and every month other than March was warmer than average.

He says whilst warmer winters might be seen as a good thing for those working on the land there ARE problems:
