Road safety improved in 2006

2006 was a much improved year for road safety, according to the Roads Policing Unit.

There were 25% fewer deaths on the roads compared to 2004 and 2005, and thankfully none during last year's TT festival.

Inspector Derek Flint (pictured) says it's as a result of a lot of hard work by all the agencies involved:
