Governor reveals he did not vote in General Election

The Lieutenant Governor has revealed that he did not vote at this year's General Election.

Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks and his wife live in the constituency of Onchan.

The constituency has three seats - and was contested by six candidates.

Sir Paul says while they were both entitled to vote, they felt it wouldn't be appropriate for them to go to the polls (audio file attached):
