by isleofman.com 29th December 2006
Sentence on a Ramsey man has been adjourned by the High Bailiff for reports.

Thirty three year old Gary James Harrison, of North Shore Road, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm and disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.

Sergeant Steven Maddox, prosecuting, said Harrsison approached another man, Andrew Jones, at 9.50pm on November 12th in the Grosvenor Hotel, Andreas, and punched him in the face.

Harrison was escorted off the premises and arrested soon after by police.

Mr Jones sustained injuries to his right ear and forehead.

Harrison told police he had punched Jones because of unacceptable behaviour towards his girlfriend.

He was bailed until January 23rd when he will be sentenced.
