Berry memorial ride-out

by isleofman.com 28th December 2006
Isle of Man Cycling will hold a social ride-out this weekend in memory of one of the Island's most promising young cyclists, who was killed late last year.

13 year-old James Berry (pictured), of Governor’s Hill, was riding with friends on December the 29th, 2005, when his bike was hit by a tyre from a passing truck at Greeba on the Douglas to Peel road.

He died in Noble’s Hospital a day later.

Anyone wishing to take part in the ride-out should meet in the car park next to the NSC's all-weather hockey pitches at 9.15am this Sunday (31st).

Everyone is welcome.
