Tourism - new Minister optimistic

The Isle of Man's tourist industry won't be affected by the current strength of the pound against the US dollar.

That's according to the new Tourism Minister, Adrian Earnshaw MHK

It’s now almost two dollars to the pound, meaning holidays in the US are much cheaper, which has led to suggestions American tourists could be put off travelling to the UK and the Isle of Man.

But Mr Earnshaw (pictured) says he remains optimistic about the future of tourism in the Isle of Man:
