A man has died after a house fire in Andreas.
It happened around 5.30 on Tuesday evening at a property in Cooil Veg.
Two occupants of the house, a man and a woman in their 80s, were taken to Nobles hospital for treatment where the man later died.
He's been named by police as 82 year old David Morton.
The woman, whose name hasn't been confirmed, has been detained in hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
The blaze was extinguished by firemen, and police and fire service personnel are investigating the circumstances of the fire.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed of the death.
