The Council of Ministers has confirmed which MHKs and MLCs will be members of the departments of the Manx Government in the new administration.
It has also put forward recommendations, subject to confirmation by Tynwald, for the chairmen of the statutory boards.

Five of the six new MHKs have accepted appointments, the exception being Liberal Vannin Party member Bill Malarkey. The other MHK whose name doesn't appear on the list is Onchan member Peter Karran, the leader of the LVP.
Of the seven remaining MHKs who aren't ministers, four have taken up appointments, Michael MHK David Cannan is set to become the new Chairman of the Water Authority, Garff MHK Steve Rodan is the new Speaker of the House of Keys and North Douglas MHK John Houghton is currently off the Island and his role in government is subject to confirmation.
All six of the available members of the Legislative Council are included in the list of appointments.
The following members will serve under the ministers whose appointments were confirmed a week ago:

The Council of Ministers is proposing the following chairmanships of statutory boards:
Manx Electricity Authority: Eddie Teare MHK; Isle of Man Post: Pamela Crowe MLC; Water Authority: David Cannan MHK; Office of Fair Trading: Quintin Gill MHK.
The Council of Ministers has re-appointed Clare Christian MLC as Chairman of the Planning Committee.
