In at the deep end for new pool

by isleofman.com 23rd December 2006
Plans for the proposed new northern swimming pool have been given the green light.

It’s hoped the facility will be developed by 2008.

Two years ago, Ramsey Commissioners recommended the Peveril Plot as its preferred site.

The local authority carried out consultation with Ramsey ratepayers before making its decision.

The Department of Local Government's business plan allows for the construction and design work for a new northern pool.

The area forms part of the Mooragh Estate, which is vested in the local authority.
