Christmas carols at St Johns tonight

A love of the Manx farming industry is set to draw crowds to St Johns this evening.

A traditional Christmas carol service is being held at Ballaleece Farm, complete with real cows, starting at 7pm.

There'll be readings, music from the Crosby Silber Band and mince pies, and it's being sponsored by the National Farmers Union as part of the I Love Manx campaign.

Owner of the farm and Manx Radio farming correspondent, John Kennaugh, says he hopes the one-off event will increase people's interest in farming:
