Police intensive Christmas campaign

by isleofman.com 20th December 2006
A pre Christmas police operation aimed at stopping troublemakers in their tracks swings into action this Friday - as a weekend of partying begins across the Island.

Operation Atomic aims to prevent any disruption to the festivities before it begins - with high visibility policing and the use of mobile CCTV cameras.

Police will also target areas used as meeting places for large groups of young people.

On Friday night the focus will be on the Villa Marina where a party for under-18s is being held.
