Chat room dangers

The police's Family Protection Unit is warning parents about the dangers of unsupervised internet use.

Sergeant Rob Scully says problems arising from children using chat rooms and messaging services are becoming more frequent.

Paedophiles often use the internet to take advantage of youngsters in what's known as 'grooming'.

Sergeant Scully says parents need to know who their child is talking to online:
