New housing in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 20th December 2006
A ?2.5m new housing scheme is set to begin in Ramsey next month.

17 public sector apartments are to be built at the former squash courts site, on the corner of Ballure Road and Walpole Drive.

The Department of Local Government has approved the town commissioners' petition for the development.

The board says it will provide much needed new housing for the town.

Contractors Auldyn Construction are due on site in the middle of January with the apartments expected to be ready for occupation by May 2008.
