High visibility for police

Visible policing in the south of the Island is working well to reduce the number of anti-social behaviour incidents.

Sergeant Jed Power says Operation Allied takes a hard line with young people found drunk or causing trouble by calling their parents.

He says working in partnership with social services and schools has helped to cut down on problems.

Sergeant Power also believes they have other effective deterrents at their disposal.
