Stadium tender

by isleofman.com 18th December 2006
The future use of Jack Nivison Stadium in Onchan Park will move a step nearer to being known after today (Monday).

It’s the closing day for tenders to be submitted to stadium owners, Onchan Commissioners.

The board will then meet in the New Year to decide which organisation the facility will be leased to from next April.

The current licence holders, which run stock cars and go-karting, want to continue operating, while members of the Isle of Man Cycling Association want to develop a cycling velodrome.
