Hospitality body says 'we need Government help'

A group representing Manx hotel operators in the Island hopes 'a solution for the continued operation of the CastleMona Hotel can be found soon'.

Chairman of the Manx Hospitality Partnership, Theo Fleurbaay, says the announcement comes at the end of a poor year for the accomodation sector.

He says the problem is the short season and the lack of trade off-season (audio file attached):
