Appeal for witnesses

by isleofman.com 16th December 2006
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses three weeks after a man suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car at the bottom of Richmond Hill.

They say there has been a good response from members of the public who saw his small, dark coloured vehicle parked near the entrance to Ballakinnish nurseries at the time of the accident.

However, they now want to speak to anybody who saw the man himself, standing near the parked vehicle, in the Douglas bound carriageway.

The 28 year old man remains in a critical condition in Noble's Hospital.

Anybody who can help is asked to ring the Road Policing Unit, on 631444.

Audio from Inspector Derek Flint of the Roads Policing Unit.
