Brown begins assembling his team

The Isle of Man's new Chief Minister says goverment and the Manx public can work together and ensure a successful future.

Earlier, Tony Brown was elected to the Island's top political position with 27 votes, five members spoiled their ballot papers.

However on division, only Liberal Vannin members Peter Karran and Bill Malarkey objected.

Mr Brown says opposition from members is healthy, but has made it clear he wants to see unity from his government.

He says assembling his ministerial team is his top priority:
