Statement issued by Castle Mona
The parent company of one of the oldest and most prestigious of the Douglas promenade hotels has issued a statement explaining its reasons for closing.

The move by management at the Castle Mona, which will remain closed until further notice, has taken everyone by suprise and left many people looking for somewhere else to celebrate Christmas.

The closure affects the hotel, Breeze Nightclub, The Office bar and the bowling alley.
