Headcam demonstration

Video 'headcams' which may be introduced by the Isle of Man Constabulary would speed up evidence gathering and improve officer safety.

That is according to Inspector Sid Caine, who attended a demonstration of the equipment with colleagues, commissioners and byelaws officers.

The cameras, due to be tested by the Isle of Man Constabulary from Thursday, are placed above the user's ear, and record everything they see and hear.

Inspector Caine says there are many advantages to introducing the technology:
