Drugs accused in court today

A 42-year old Douglas man is due in court today, in connection with the seizure of drugs with a street value of more than ?4,500.

He is charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, and theft.

He was among five men detained when a team of CID and uniformed officers raided a house on Circular Road just before midnight on Friday.

The other four have been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Stolen property and more than ?15,000 in cash was also recovered in the operation.
