Castletown switch on tonight

by isleofman.com 9th December 2006
Christmas will officially come to Castletown this evening (Saturday).

The town’s festive lights will be switched-on by this year’s Castletown Festival Carnival Queen, Rebecca Glassey.

Before the big switch-on at seven thirty, there’ll be a glow-light community carol service in the town square, while Father Christmas will also make a special visit to the ancient capital.

Commissioners’ chairman Tony Mansell says it promises to be a real festive occasion.
