Fayle remanded in custody

A 34 year old Union Mills man has been remanded in custody, on charges of threatening to kill his partner and children.

Jason Dean Fayle, of Strang Close is also accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent against the woman, Dawn Diane Neeson.

The alleged offences relate to an incident in Strang Close on Wednesday evening.

Sergeant Stephen Maddocks, prosecuting, asked for Mr Fayle to be remanded in custody because of the seriousness of the charges.

Mr Fayle's advocate, submitted an application for bail on the grounds he was in full time employment, and also asked for legal aid.

Deputy High Bailiff, Alistair Montgomerie refused bail, but said legal aid would be granted.

Mr Fayle will appear in court for a further hearing at 10am next Tuesday.
