Renewed witness appeal

by isleofman.com 8th December 2006
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to an accident two weeks ago which has left a 28 year old man in a critical condition in Noble's Hospital.

They say there has been a good response from members of the public who saw his small, dark coloured vehicle parked near the entrance to Ballakinnish nurseries near Richmond Hill, at the time of the accident.

However, they now want to speak to anybody who saw the man himself, standing near the parked vehicle, in the Douglas bound carriageway at about 4:30 pm on Friday, November 24th.

A Police spokesman said they were still trying to work out exactly what happened and anything the public could do to help present a clearer picture would be much appreciated.

Anybody who can help is asked to ring the Road Policing Unit, on 631444.
