Try to give a present to the environment this Christmas by attempting to recycle more.
That's the message from the Island's Recycling Manager Stephanie Gray.
It is thought nearly 80% of all 'festive waste' such as wrapping paper, cards and packaging, will end up in the waste stream, despite the fact that around half of it could easily be recycled or composted
