Sole candidate sets out stall

Members of Tynwald will find out later today (Thurs) what the sole candidate for the job of Chief Minister plans for the Island.

Speaker of the House of Keys and Castletown MHK Tony Brown was the only nomination received by 5 pm yesterday and the court will now vote next Thursday (14th) on whether he is the right man for the job.

Mr Brown's statement of intent has to be delivered to the Clerk of Tynwald's office by 5pm today (Thurs).
