Cliff fatality - woman named

Police have named the 60 year-old woman whose body was found at the foot of cliffs below Marine Drive yesterday (Douglas).

Irene Burns from Castle Mona Avenue in Douglas was discovered by a member of the public on the cliff side near to the car park at Pigeon Stream.

She leaves a husband, three children and grandchildren.

Neighbour and friend, Lin Williams, said she was in good spirits, despite a recent spell in hospital.
