Health and safety awards

by isleofman.com 6th December 2006
Businesses in the Isle of Man are being asked to consider putting themselves forward for the United Kingdom's 2007 Health and Safety Awards.

The prestigious scheme, which is organised by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, has been running for over half century and last year recognised 1,300 winners.

Roger Vincent from ROSPA says such programmes help to underline the positive aspects of health and safety at work, when so much publicity in the media is negative (audio file attached):

Any size of company from a family firm to a multinational can apply to enter, and number to ring for information is 0121 248 2090.
