A scheme to provide extra help for carers of people with learning disabilities is being launched.
Manx Mencap and Crossroads Caring for Carers have joined forces to help gives families additional care-breaks, outside of the usual Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 time-frame.
Chairman of Crossroads, David Gawne MBE, says it came out of discussions in the Learning Disabilities Consultative Group.
