Connor to switch-on Christmas lights

An 11 year-old boy bravely battling a rare form of cancer will switch on a display of Christmas lights in Castletown this evening (Sunday).

Connor Steventon of Strang Close in Braddan will turn on the lights at the family of Alison Kelly of WestHill Avenue.

The Kelly family display an impressive array of festive lights each year and proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Danny Feeney fund, formed in memory of the teacher, DJ and nightclub owner who died from cancer last year.
