by isleofman.com 1st December 2006
A third meeting to discuss the Department of Health and Social Security's Learning Disabilities Strategy will take place a week on Saturday. (Dec 9th)

Parents, carers, professionals and people with learning disabilities are involved in the consultation, which follows a review of the department's residential services.

It's hoped the strategy will stimulate better choice of housing, recreation and respite care.

The meeting will take place on Saturday December the 9th between 9.30am and 12 noon at the Eastcliffe Centre on Victoria Road in Douglas.
