New MHK hopes for DTI job

The new MHK for Onchan says he is looking forward to playing his part in National Government, and would be happy to take on a role within the Department of Trade and Industry.

David Quirk filled the seat left by the departure of Richard Corkill in the constituency, and joins returned Onchan MHK's Peter Karran and Adrian Earnshaw.

Mr Quirk says he would be more than interested in taking a position within DTI should he be asked by the new Chief Minister:
