A man sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car close to Ballakinnish nurseries on Friday evening
He was standing near the back of a blue stationary vehicle in the Douglas bound carriageway at the bottom of Richmond Hill.
He was hit by a Ford Mondeo car, travelling in the direction of Douglas.
Police want to speak to drivers who were in the area at the time, who saw either the collision or the stationary blue vehicle.
