Returning officer explains role

There'll be at least three new faces in the House of Keys by the end of today.

Up to 52,000 people will take to the polls to vote for their choice of candidates for 23 seats in 14 constituencies.

Eddie Teare was elected unopposed in Ayre.

Each constituency has a Returning Officer, assisted by a deputy.

Geoff Karran is in Rushen, and explains the officer's duties:
