Election day

Polling stations will open at 8 o'clock in the morning for the General Election 2006.

Around 52,000 polling cards have been sent out to people on the electoral register, but there's a chance some people may not have received them.

However, you don't HAVE to have a card to vote.

Peter Hannay from the Department of Economic Affairs, explained the situation:
