New Onchan clerk

Scottish Water's Manager for the Shetland and Orkney Islands will become the clerk of Onchan Commissioners in the New Year.

Manxman Malcolm Hulme will take up the post on January 3rd.

Born and raised in Onchan, and educated at Onchan Primary School and Douglas High School, Mr Hulme worked for the Isle of Man Water Authority for several years before moving to the Shetland Islands in 1981.

He succeeds former clerk and deputy clerk, Mark Williams, who left his post in September after 12 years with the local authority.
