Pray for prisoners

Christians on the Isle of Man have been asked to pray for prisoners and, as Christmas approaches, remember those behind bars.

Major Paul Conley from the Salvation Army is chaplain at HMP Wymott in Leyland in Lancashire.

He's been on the Island to promote Prisoner's Week, a church initiative which focuses not only on inmates, but their families as well.

Major Conley says people may think convicted criminals don't deserve care and support, but that's not an issue for the Salvation Army:
