Chief Minister confirms end of an era approaching

Chief Minister Donald Gelling has confirmed his parliamentary career will come to an end after the forthcoming general election.

Mr Gelling says he hopes new candidates will be able to carry on the "positive line of the economy of the Island" in the new administration

And whilst he has been in politics for most of his life, he believes the time comes when you know it's right to stand down (audio file attached):
