Major conference closes today

The latest conference to be attracted to the Island, a Department of Tourism initiative will draw to a close today.

ACTAN is the Association of Care, Training and Assessment Networks, and their conference got underway on Monday at the Villa Marina.

Chairman of the meeting, Maureen Cowburn says the association, which works in the delivery of health and social care services, had over 160 delegates from off-Island, and she hopes conference keeps their members both on and off-Island up to date in the development of their work:
