Lest we forget

The Isle of Man will come to a stand-still this morning (SAT) as it remembers its war dead.

Maroons will sound at eleven o'clock to mark the start of a two minute silence.

Participants in the traditional Armistice Day parade will march to the war memorial on Douglas Promenade for the act of worship.

Lieutenant Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Paul Haddacks, and his wife Lady Haddacks will be attending.

His Excellency says the sacrifice of those who gave their lives must never be forgotten:
